Snapashot is screen capture software that is easy to learn, convenient to use, and free to download. This open source software looks like a box. The box looks like an empty frame with the command buttons located at the right side. You need to fit the image you are going to capture inside the box. Click “save to file” and choose the file format you want to save the image. I usually save images in jpeg format.
This is good when you are blogging and needed images to suit your posts. The tool allows you to adjust the width and height of the box too. You can either use your cursor to adjust the sides or fill in the measurement of the number in the right side of the box with “W” or “H” figures. You do not need to buy screen capture software if your need is not highly technical. Save money and look for open source software first!
